Old Changi Hospital, Singapore, August 2009

IMG_7643

I’ve been to OCH before [confusion.cc] to take photos but I think I’ve got a better eye and better equipment now. The end results don’t necessary justify that statement. I like the photos, but they don’t have that creepy feeling I would want. Partly I think it’s due to not post-processing the images very much. No major dodge and burn or change in the hues. Partly the images don’t tell any story. Maybe I need a model.

You can see the whole Old Changi Hospital, Singapore, August 2009 photoset on Flickr [flickr.com].

One day I will live down my whoring

confusion.cc top search positions by query
Four floors of keywords

Yea, four of the top ten search queries that return a confusion.cc page in their results on Google are all pointing to the same entry [confusion.cc]. Not sure how I feel about being known for one night of whoring… I didn’t even get any…

And what’s up with the lack of spelling skills? I thought I was bad.

Moments

This, I think, is the first video on YouTube that I have been impressed enough to share here. (I should have posted Home [youtube.com], but never got around to it…).

Brilliant. It took me a few seconds to get into it but the gestalt of the whole thing is wonderful. I especially like that they include things like the old woman eating soup and the condom scene. Not shying away from things people don’t usually want to put into such videos.

Credit where it’s due: I saw this on Intrepid Flame’s [intrepidflame.blogspot.com] blog.

Newness

“How does newness come into the world? How is it born?

Of what fusions, translations, conjoinings is it made?

How does it survive, extreme and dangerous as it is? What compromises, what deals, what betrayals of its secret nature must it make to stave off the wrecking crew, the exterminating angel, the guillotine?

Is birth always a fall?

Do angels have wings? Can men fly?”
